Located near the rim of the Rio Grande gorge, this house is a modern take on classic New Mexican Architecture. A series of programmatic cubes that are connected by circulation paths and view corridors. There is nothing but rolling hills of sagebrush in this part of Taos County with 360-degree views, so we have strategically located windows and doors to capture the vistas. To distinguish the different programmatic cubes we have clad the volumes in either traditional stucco or weathered steel.
